Celebrating the Fine Arts at
Bowie High School

Evening with the Arts is a unique cooperative event spotlighting all six areas of the James Bowie High School Fine Arts Departments (Band, Choir, Dance, Orchestra, Theater, and Visual Arts). It is designed to raise cultural awareness and to serve as a celebration of the artist within each one of us. The evening's goal is to foster inspiration, promote togetherness, and increase appreciation of the arts. The event is intended as an uplifting, joyful night of culture, designed to involve the whole Austin community in the arts at Bowie High School.

Once a year the James Bowie Fine Arts Departments joins together for one phenomenal night of celebration and fundraising. Family and friends unite to support the glory of the Arts. Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 6, 2010. You do not want to miss this elegant evening of entertainment and fine cuisine.  This year we are proud to announce that award winning singer/songwriter Ryan Harkrider will be performing at our event! 

The fine arts program at Bowie High School is one of the best in the state and it is important to provide our award-winning students and faculty with a facility that is worthy of their talents.  With your help we can accomplish this goal.
